At Vintage Wholesale Store we regularly hold kilo sale events at our Cardiff warehouse. Our vintage kilo sale events offer a unique and sustainable shopping experience, putting a spin on the traditional model of selling vintage clothing.

Our vintage kilo sale events run every month and offer a wide array of categories to choose from, for a fraction of the usual price. There is something to be found for everyone.

We are proud to offer the biggest vintage sale that Cardiff has to offer. At each event expect to find thousands of vintage treasures and eclectic finds.

A vintage kilo sale offers a fun, sustainable way to shop pre-loved clothing: instead of paying per item, you pay by weight. Held in large spaces—such as our 6,500 sq ft warehouse—these events feature thousands of items displayed on rails organised by category.

Part of the excitement is the unpredictability; your next great find could be hiding anywhere, and stock is often replenished throughout the day to keep the hunt fresh. When you're ready to buy, your items are weighed, priced at £15 per kilo—great value for unique vintage pieces.

Kilo sales also bring together a community of vintage lovers, resellers, and sustainability enthusiasts. They’re a great place to meet like-minded people, discover new sellers, and connect within the vintage scene.

The first port of call, when attending our vintage kilo sale events, is to purchase a ticket to gain admission. This can be done via Eventbrite (see events below to be taken to the ticketing page.) On the date of the vintage kilo sale event, entry will begin at the stated time on the ticket. Tickets start for as little as £2.00 per entry, with an additional early bird purchasing option available (should you wish to beat the crowds.)

We are constantly running multiple promotions and raffles leading up to the events. So keep an eye out on our socials to be in with a chance to win some free stock.

The price you will pay per item depends upon the price per kilo which sits at £15 per kilo.

A t-shirt will usually weigh approximately 200g (0.2kg), so on this basis, you would pay £3 for one t-shirt. in another example, a sweatshirt will typically weigh 0.5kg, so a sweatshirt would cost £7.50.

There is no minimum spend - you are not obliged to buy a whole kilo, if you find one item you love, you can purchase just that piece!

The categories of clothing you can expect to find at our Cardiff vintage kilo sale may slightly change from event to event, in order to keep up with seasonality and so on.

However, we promise to try and stock as many items as possible, offering a wide array of brands and categories, ensuring there will be something for everyone.

• Buy your ticket early - Tickets are cheaper before the event, but will still be available at the door on the day.
• Arrive early - The early bird gets the worm! The same can be said for vintage kilo sales. Arriving early and being one of the first to enter, will ensure you get first pick on items. This vastly increases your chances of grabbing a bargain or finding a vintage treasure!
• Weigh your items regularly - Make use of the scales dotted around the kilo sale to keep track of your rough spending. Doing so will ensure you do not go over budget.
